This review of “Free Monthly Websites 2.0” was written in the Spring of 2021 and I find it remarkable that it’s still being promoted and sold when so much has changed in the affiliate marketing world since it was produced over 6 years ago.
Free Monthly Websites 2.0 Review
I won’t beat around the bush with this mini review of Free Monthly Website 2.0.
Should you try it? Well, don’t bother. No really, don’t.
They make you websites so you can promote affiliate products or use Google AdSense.
In a nutshell, the product is free for basic use, or $10 for a ‘new’ website every month. You might think that’s fine, but please understand this:
- The website you get is duplicate content
- The website you get is Butt-Ugly
- The website you get is from 2010-2015
- The methods they teach for getting traffic are from 2010
- Those methods will get you absolutely nowhere and will have wasted your valuable time.
Even if these websites were all the rage for affiliate marketers 10 years ago, they still would’ve gotten you nowhere, even back then.
Free Monthly Websites 2.0 | The Real Agenda
The product is nothing more than a promotion for BlueHost website hosting by the affiliate marketers who produced the Free Monthly Websites 2.0 product, John Thornhill & Dave Nicholson.
John Thornhill and Dave Nicholson have been around affiliate marketing for Eons, so I’m a bit miffed they are still selling and promoting this product on Clickbank. Those poor newbies who buy into this will have wasted their most valuable time in learning the wrong way to go about affiliate marketing, making websites and generating traffic.
I’m now out of the make money online (MMO) affiliate marketing scene… it’s just so… creepy, scam infested and devious. I might have been persuaded to have tried this method way back in 2010, but still wouldn’t have made money with hindsight… so now being in 2021, it would be sheer folly to even try and succeed with the methods taught in Free Monthly Websites 2.0.
Basic Instructions for Free Monthly Websites 2.0
This is basically what you get when you try the product. Yes, it’s free to try, and all you have to do is enter your email address and the instructions are sent to you immediately.
Once inside the ‘members area’ you will find sections for tutorials and a download page along with recommendations for tools to use, essentially it’s a BlueHost affiliate promo.
Below, you will see why the tuts are useless in 2021 and were probably as useless even 10 years ago.
- Enter your name & email to get the free version via the members login
- You get free online training videos from 2010-2015 that do not work after 2016 and beyond
- You get implored to buy BlueHost website hosting through their affiliate link
- You get to download and use FileZilla (File Zilla, FFS!)
- You get ‘trained’ on how to get traffic to your ugly, duplicated and very out-of-date websites by using, wait for it, warrior forum, ad swaps, ezine articles, guest blogging, Facebook groups, link exchanges and other pretty useless and outdated methods.
Yes it’s free, but ask yourself this. Would you spend all your time promoting DVD and VHS players? Cassettes? Myspace? Ask Jeeves? AOL online?
I think you get my drift.
Anyway, as I said, this is a mini-review of Free Monthly Websites 2.0 and I don’t want to make it a lengthy one.
Just be aware, just because it’s still selling (to the rank newbies of MMO) doesn’t mean it’s a goer.
The vendor should do the right thing and take this out of the Clickbank marketplace and file it under retro affiliate marketing that no longer works. My HD is full of them!
You can of course pop over to their official website and have a look yourself. I will link to the website on the banner to the right. Don’t worry, it’s not an affiliate link.
I will also link to the BlueHost Hosting Company here, again, not an affiliate link.
My final thoughts are below.
Promoting BlueHost for hosting your websites is not a bad thing. BlueHost are cheap and reliable and are a major force in the hosting world. I don’t use them personally, simply because I’m happy with my present hosting company. But that’s just my choice. BlueHost are fine.
The cost of ‘Free Monthly Websites 2.0’ may be free for basic use, but even that isn’t worth it. The 10 bucks per month it costs for Premium is crazy and as for the expensive ($97, $47) upsells, well, the less said about them, the better.
They suggest you use Google Adsense and Clickbank as a way of monetizing your website. Well, Adsense would ban your website for duplicate content, but no worries, you wouldn’t get any traffic anyway. Clickbank? You need tons of traffic to make even a few dollars so these websites are dead in the water before you’ve even started.
This review is probably 6 years too late for some, but for those who are thinking of trying out Free Monthly Websites 2.0, be aware you will be wasting valuable time in your efforts in making money online.
By the way, this review has no affiliate links and is in no way associated with Wealthy Affiliate which is NOT my #1 Recommendation!
I run this blog as a bit of fun these days. I don’t do much affiliate marketing, only a bit of Amazon, and don’t go anywhere near Make Money Online products. There are so many scammers out there who feed off the hopes of newbies. It’s quite sickening. So, I do write the odd review of products that I find can be harmful to those wishing to make money online.
By the way, the best way to make money online is to be true to yourself and only promote things you actually find value in. Things that will help others or will help them get the answers they really want.
Cheesy, I know, but it’s the truth.
